GAMBIT MARKETS · FIVE LENSES

Start with the name. See what may move it.

A price does not explain itself. Gambit puts five kinds of context around the markets you follow: the watchlist that carries your names across the symbol-level desks, the event risk priced into earnings, the options positioning that may shape the reaction, the institutional ownership disclosed in filings, and the mechanical flows that reach the tape regardless of anyone's view.

The thing to get right

These five lenses run on different clocks

A 13F describes ownership at quarter-end and can land 45 days after it. Earnings options price a known future date. Gamma changes through the session as spot moves, open interest trades and expiry approaches. Leveraged ETF rebalancing grows with the day's move and arrives into the close. Each is honest about a different moment in time.

Reading them as if they were simultaneous is the most common way to reach a confident wrong answer. Gambit keeps the timestamp, the assumptions and the limitations attached to every one, and each page states plainly what its measure cannot establish.

The five market lenses, the question each answers and the clock it runs on. As of 10 August 2026.

Where they meet

One name, five readings

Take a company reporting this week that also sits in a crowded sector. The expected move says how far options are paying for it to travel. Dealer gamma says whether hedging around the nearby strikes is likely to damp that path or add to it. Filed portfolios say who owned it at the last quarter-end, which is slow context rather than a live position. Rebalance flow says whether a mechanical bid or offer is arriving into the close for reasons that have nothing to do with the company at all.

None of those is a view. Together they describe the terrain a view would have to survive, which is the useful thing a terminal can actually give you.

Questions

What market research tools does Gambit have?

Five, each answering a different question about the same name: a watchlist that defines the universe every other desk reads from, option-implied expected moves for upcoming earnings, dealer gamma exposure with the option print tape, 13F filings rendered as portfolios, and an estimate of the leveraged ETF rebalancing forced into the close.

Which one should I look at first?

Whichever your question implies. There is no order here, unlike the AI economy stack or the signal loop. The watchlist is the usual starting point because your active list follows you across the symbol-level desks, the chart, the heatmap, the newsfeed filter and the earnings coverage among them. The funds, rebalance and DATA desks are organised around managers, indices and chips rather than around your list.

Can I combine these measures?

Carefully, because they run on different clocks. A 13F describes ownership at quarter-end and can arrive 45 days later. An expected move prices a known future date. Gamma changes through the session as spot moves and expiry approaches. Rebalance flow grows with the day and lands into the close. Reading a quarter-old filing against an intraday gamma profile is the most common way to draw a confident wrong conclusion.

Do I need an account?

No. The read surfaces open as a guest with no account and no card: the tape, charts, the triaged newsfeed, the calendar, GEX and the DATA desk. Signing in with an email address ties watchlists and saved settings to an account so they persist beyond the guest session and across devices; connecting a wallet opens the trading surfaces.
