GAMBIT WATCHLIST DESK

Your active watchlist carries across the symbol-level desks

Put crypto spot, Hyperliquid and Lighter perpetuals, US equities and selected world indices in one list. Your active list then carries across the terminal's symbol-level desks, the charts, the heatmap, the newsfeed filter, the earnings coverage and your alert rules, so those views open on the market context you already chose rather than on a default. How to read it

What this tells you, and what it does not

What this tells you

What the rest of the terminal should organise itself around. The watchlist is what turns a general market feed into a personal research surface.

What it does not tell you

A name being on the list is not a signal about it. The list is the universe against which events, positioning and market structure become worth reading; it makes nothing true on its own.

What to inspect next

See which of your names report soon, read the positioning around one of them, or turn a level you care about into an alert.

The spine

Curate once, and the terminal routes the rest to you

A watchlist in Gambit is not a page you visit. It is the argument the other desks take. Put NVDA and BTC · spot in it, and the newsfeed's WATCHLIST chip cuts the triaged tape down to those two names while the heatmap on h redraws itself around them. An alert rule on either one runs on Gambit's servers and reaches Telegram with the browser closed, the earnings desk prices the expected move on whichever reports next, and the rotation and sentiment tabs become context for what you actually hold.

That is the design. You maintain one set of names; the signal comes to them. The usual arrangement is the opposite: a news app, a charting tab and an alert tool each holding a private idea of what you care about, reconciled by hand every morning.

What goes in the list is deliberately unrestricted. Crypto spot and perpetual futures, including the Hyperliquid and Lighter venues, US equities, world indices, all streaming on one connection under the same last, change and percent columns. BTC · spot sits directly beneath ORCL because to the terminal a row is a row.

The desk

What it looks like with something in it

The Gambit Terminal watchlist desk: a strip of saved lists (Watchlist, Mag 7, Neoclouds, GPUs and CPUs, Memory, Nuclear, Crypto Majors, Stablecoins, Defense Tech, Quantum, SPX and Situational) above a multi-column grid whose first column holds ten symbols with last price and green percent-change chips, NVDA, MU, SNDK, META, GOOG, MSFT, AAPL and ORCL followed by BTC and ETH labelled spot, with three empty columns offering Add header.

The strip along the top is saved lists: Mag 7, Neoclouds, GPUs & CPUs, Memory, Nuclear, Crypto Majors, Stablecoins, Defense Tech, Quantum, SPX, Situational. The AI trade is not one basket, and pretending otherwise costs you the rotation between them. Inside a list, symbols group under headers you name, and lists sit side by side across as many columns as your screen will carry. The MARKETS tab beside it is the browse surface for finding what to add.

The same list, other lens

The heatmap renders your list, not an index

A list is for reading rows. A heatmap is for reading a session in one glance. Press h and Gambit draws the watchlist you are already looking at, rather than some fixed index you did not choose. Area is each name's impact, luminance carries the magnitude of the move, hue and a glyph carry direction. Crypto and equities are grouped side by side in the same grid, which is precisely where a divergence between them becomes visible.

The Gambit Terminal heatmap desk: the watchlist rendered as a treemap with a TECHNOLOGY group of green tiles for ORCL, SNDK, NVDA, GOOG, MU and META and red tiles for MSFT and AAPL, beside a CRYPTO group holding BTC and ETH, with a legend reading area equals impact and magnitude equals luminance, direction equals hue plus glyph.

Getting in

Guest first, account only when it buys you something

The watchlist and the heatmap are part of the free read surface: open the terminal as a guest, no account, and start adding symbols. Signing in with email is what makes a list persist across devices and turns on alerts to Telegram; a wallet opens the trading surfaces. Nothing about the streaming tape is held back behind the login.

Questions

What does the rest of the terminal do with my watchlist?

It routes signal to it. The newsfeed carries a WATCHLIST filter chip that narrows the triaged tape to your names, the heatmap renders the same list as one grid, alert rules on those symbols run on Gambit's servers and deliver to Telegram, and the earnings desk prices an expected move for any of them about to report.

Can I hold crypto and US stocks on one watchlist?

Yes. One list holds crypto spot, crypto perpetuals from venues including Hyperliquid and Lighter, US equities and selected world indices: BTC and ETH in the same column of prices as NVDA, MSFT and ORCL, under the same last and percent-change headings. Crypto and US equities stream live; some index quotes are exchange delayed by roughly 10 to 20 minutes, and the terminal marks which.

Do I need an account to use the watchlist?

No. The terminal opens as a guest session with the full read surface, watchlist and heatmap included. Email sign-in makes lists persist across devices and turns on Telegram alerts; a wallet opens the trading surfaces.

Can I organise a watchlist into sections?

Yes. Symbols group under headers you name, and lists sit side by side in as many columns as the screen will take. Separate saved lists cover themes such as Mag 7, Neoclouds, Memory, Nuclear, Crypto Majors, Stablecoins, Defense Tech, Quantum and SPX.

What does the heatmap show?

The watchlist you are already looking at, rendered as one grid: area is each name's impact, luminance is the magnitude of the move, hue and a glyph carry direction. Crypto and equities are grouped side by side, which is where a divergence between them shows up first.
